In order to improve the situation, the Lycée Moderne de l’Amitié was founded in 2005 with the objective to foster high quality education – especially of girls. Within 6 years the number of students increased from 150 to 850. The school enjoys an excellent reputation due to its wide ranging program as well as its unique infrastructure.
